looking on WOS site for a new Receiver, VU+ Ultimo 4K does appear to be there as it been discontinued

Duo 4K has been discontinued. The Ultimo 4K is Vu+’s flagship receiver, but as you mentioned it’s not on the WoS website.

The Duo 4K SE is soon to be released.

What is the difference between the SE and the normal DUO 4k?

Very difficult. Apart from the ultimo 4k i dont think there is another 4k receiver that will support that size.

Yeah you gonna struggle to find a box that takes a 3.5 HDD. You might need to source a second hand Ultimo 4K from somewhere if you defo want 3.5

I never thought the ultimo 4k had superior CPU than the DUo 4k.
Any other differences?

Just the SE on the box. lol. Looks like just the CPU buddy.

.... although, on PLi, they say (today) "VU+ has told us that as soon as they receive orders from distributors, they will produce and ship them."
