Is it a wideband LNB or universal LNB. If you don't know, post a close up picture of LNB.

Also, to which tuner/s have you attached/connected the signal wires from new dish.

there are universal lnbs and i have 2 double tuner s conected to my vu ultino box

The Ultimo 4k takes two types of tuner, lets get this right.

Post a picture/screenshot of what you see in:
Menu > Information > Devices

I have attached mine.

Objective is to identify the letters of the tuners to which you attached/connected the universal LNBS. Otherwise you will mess it it up. The tuner configuration is the straight forward one everyone uses ( simple, single, 28.2).

The tuner that has the cable that goes directly to the LNB on motorsied dish, should be set as "Second cable of motorised LNB" in the configuration mode.

Please post the requested picture. It will help you!

Golden rule of tuner configuration is that every tuner must be set/configured to what is actually attached/connected/hooked up to it.

The tuner with the wire to the motor, don't touch it. If it was fine before, it will be fine now. Presuming you have not moved wires.
The tuner with the second cable of motorised LNB, set is as "second cable of motorised LNB"

do the motor cable stayes in tuner A and the lnb gos to tuner B is that right i do the config as well

abu baniaz

Nobody suggested moving cabling. You have not said which wire is in which tuner. It does not matter which way round you do it. Tuner configuration must match the way you do it.

so i config in tuner B then

abu baniaz
27-09-20, 17:28
Yes, if tuner B has the second cable of motorised LNB.
No, if tuner B does not have the second cable of motorised LNB.

deltec

so the motorised dish A and B then the fixed dish to tuner C is that right

I don't know. This is why I asked for a picture/screenshot. If you have FBC tuners, you can't physically attach a wire to tuner C. Only you are in front of your receiver and know which wire is which and to which tuner you have connected it to.

You can do the following with wiring:
Wire to motor: Attach to top connection of tuner module.
Wire direct to LNB: Attach to bottom slot of same tuner module.
Wire to second dish: Attach to top slot of second tuner module/card

As I said before, it does not matter which way round you do it, so long as you configure it to match what you have done.

if i decide to buy a fbc usb i install the wires the same way is that right regards deltec

There are no USB FBC tuners as far as I know.

The Ultimo 4K has three tuner slots, you shouldn't need a USB tuner.

The only things I can explain with certainty are:
1. You are saying different things. One of them is wrong. The screenshot being requested from you will clarify the issue.
2. What ever you do, in whichever way you do it, tuner config must match what you are using.
3. The Ultimo 4k takes the old style tuners in one of the tuner slots and you could re-use one of the tuners you may still have.

So how many FBC tuner cards do you have? If you have one card, you have tuners A-H. If you have a second card, it will be tuners I-P

Screenshot solves all the questions.

This is set wrong, you have disabled it. You said it has a signal wire from dish.

In post 6, I told you:

The tuner that has the cable that goes directly to the LNB on motorsied dish, should be set as "Second cable of motorised LNB" in the configuration mode.

In post 13 & 15, I repeated the same thing again and posted a link to a post with the screenshot of with what you need to set it to.

So once again, in tuner configuration, for tuner B, set it to "second cable of motorised LNB". Just press right/left to change it.
Here is the picture again.

Isn’t tuner 2 terrestrial, looking at his screenshots?

Based on his screen shot:
Tuners A&B are satellite.
Tuner I is Hybrid. Cable/Terrestrial.
