New to thus area advuce on amp recvr

I an having some buildings work done and thought this mighg be a good time to run cables around


I have a solo vu2 in one room sly q in another
I am putting some speakers in the ceiling

Do i need a av amp or receiver to

A play music and have tvs through play diffeent music in rooms
Could i control differnt rooms by an app i have a Bose
Speaker

All new AV amps/receivers have hdmi inputs and outputs for feeds in and out audio out to the speakers done via 2core cable i use 1.5mm 2 core flex for my system has its cheap and as a low oham range ideal for sound/speaker use. Dont get conned into the £20 a metre cable its just a rip off and a piss take cable is cable at the end of the day. if the cable is running out of sight use 1.5mm twin and earth. The thing is what you need will require a switch somewhere in the system to swap over the feeds if you need sounds in each room from a different source or just do a cheap av setup in each room.
