I have checked forums and all posts seem to be 2014-2015!

Hi OpenVix Experts
I installed the OnDemand app but it seems doing nothing - is it abandoned - if so why is still is there?

I used Kodi for BBC iPlayer and it seems to work fine - I cannot see any other [ITV etc.] in Kodi.

What shall I do to be able to get ITV CH4 My5 etc. ?

I used to keep a Laptop behind TV and use that for iPlayers ... now it is off [no space] and I thought I could use Gigablue to do this.

I know you can get a Fire stick or similar, but better if YOU manage the internet connection to avoid Amazon or other 'slow' providers [SLOWER when you do not pay for Prime or similar!!!]

Thanks

NOTHING works actually - in regard of TV players, only BBC iPlayer.
Not that I need so much the others, but once in a while I do.

So, no ITV/CH5 etc. ?

Your Smart TV may have all the OnDemand Apps on, that is your best bet.

It is OLD too still working fine and clear picture ...

IF needed will probably use Laptop - faster and it always work!

Was trying to use Receiver for that, but BBC iPlayer suffice me (90%).

Apps like ondemand need constant updating to keep them working. The broadcasters have introduced drm/encryption to stop people using unofficial methods of watching their services so sometimes it becomes impossible to view the streams (not that the app was abandoned). At one stage the ondemand app had a built-in proxy so we could watch the bbc iplayer from outside the uk. The app is still available because iplayer works and some people find it useful. As with all the development of these enigma2 images and the apps/plugins it is done by volunteers for no financial reward so try not to be critical if something doesn't work for you.
