After some research on my previous thread, it appears that the VuPlus Duo only has a 10/100Mbit lan port. When 10/100Mbit devices connect to my router, I think my router negotiates a link of 10Mbit. I can't tell visually cos its led system is Green for 1Gbit, and Amber for 10 or 100Mbit.
Now in the gold old days when the client device was a Windows computer, you could adjust the advanced settings of your lan adapter to force 100Mbit links, but how do we do this with the likes of the VuPlus or other STB type devices / DLNA TV's etc ?
