im currently using a belkin Surf Wireless N Router Model: F7D2301 and i have VM 50MB bb too but streaming HD isn't the best, very unstable but SD is pretty perfect. Now is this my router or my bb connections upload speed thats not allowing me to stream HD properly regardless of being in the house or out the house. ive got a few different routers but spec wise they are about the same. do i need a HD streaming router, i know belkin do one and netgear got one and dlink but not too sure

I'm using the Netgear WNDR3700 to stream my HD across my network with no lag at all because it's dual wireless N but if your streaming HD over the Internet you need to fibre optic broadband to get best results

I have the default nether provided by ISP and BC in the house has never been a problem, never tried outside the house but at 8meg probably not fast enough.
I use VLC to stream.
