You are better off learning how to do it your self so you can use any image you like its not hard

all linux boxes require some knowledge of FTP/Telnet these are really the basics of a Linux satellite box that every one must learn

To install simply FTP to /tmp, then install using the IPK installer in the VIX Menu under blue button.

In answer to your question Open Pli still have it in the downloads.

http://www.pli-images.org/modules/file_downloads/file_downloads.php?fd_id=1&dir=/vuduo

Allthough if you are going to flash a new image you might want to have a look at the latest VIX image it has only just been released. It does not have it in the download menu, but asking how to install it does not break forum rules.

Loads of people on this forum will be happy to help.

If you do decide to go with the pli image download OpenPLi-2.0-beta-vuduo-20110211_usb.zip which is at the top of the list, version 1 is no longer being developed...

folder is TMP not temp. go to menu / vix and IPK or manual install and works fine.

Thats why I like this forum. Other places might have been a bit harsh with SDOCKER but sometimes we all have moments when things are not obvious. Good for you Stanman

LOL simple fact is that every one of us some where down the line had to learn and none of us would have if we had have been berated for asking.
as you noted, people asking reasonable questions will always be helped on this forum.

thats what were here for.
