have you read the thread in Unicable section?
You can select the "dnb hello" model.
Thanks, i have been reading a few bits about it, i just needed to know if i need to repeat the setup for every tuner? it doesn't seem to work with dlnb dhello selected.

SO whats on the end of the 2 cables? 2 LNB‘S or 1 cable from a LNB and then split or??
1 cable from LNB and then split.

That lnb model number is not working on mine.
The only one to work is GT-S1-2-3SCR4 but it only has 4 user bands.

GT-S3DSSR24 should work fine. Uses same userbands as the LNB you have.
Thanks, been trying it for a while on the one you mention but it's not working for me. i just get tune failed message.

Every tuner needs to be configured to make full use of the LNB. If you don't configure it, it will be in FBC Automatic, i.e loop through mode.
Attach the file called "settings" in /etc/enigma2 You will need to zip it.
I've had times that after setting all 8 tuners receiver needs a reboot. Menu > Standby & Restart > Reboot.

Thanks, i can see the file but i haven't a clue how to Attach it. just a though, the original lnb i sent for was discontinued, so they sent me the new one.
One thing, please don't take offence to this, but make 100% sure you're using the Unicable output on LNB. You just need one cable feed to Tuner A, then follow the guide mentioned above.
no offence taken, i will check it now to be sure.
just checked, the unicable one is coloured blue and arrowed, so yes it's in the correct one. so are you saying i only need 1 connection to tuner A?
If you only have 1 LNB then you can just use Tuner A - you can allocate the 8 tuners anyway you like across 1 or both inputs

Yes correct.
Tuners B to H are then set connected to Tuner A.
See this guide: https://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?60640-GT-Sat-GT-dLNB1DY-and-tuner-configuration

I can't do that because i only have 4 bands to use, this new LNB is not in the list, could that list need updating?

It actually has 24 of which 8 are useable

You’ve selected the wrong LNB that’s why. The one you have selected only has 4.

So the LNB was added 3 days ago -so may not be in your latest image!
If that is so, then it can be added but you need to go online and use filezilla is that OK

You need to tell us what the correct LNB is then please? Also what image are you on? Don’t say the latest, please be specific on image version etc. Can be found at;

i can use DCC to change something if that helps.

let's confirm wiring,
Are both tuners hooked up to the Unicable port via a splitter. Or is one to the legacy one and one to unicable?
i only have 1 connection from unicable port to splitter then 1 connection to the gigablue, as suggested earlier.
So if you look at this update you can see where (I think) yout LNB‘s were added.
https://github.com/OpenViX/enigma2/blob/bbf154afed6ef170ec35861d914dc696fc0d6a68/data/unicable.xml
Use DCC (or preferably Filezilla) to retrieve the unicable.xml from /data/unicable.xml and then update preferably with notepad++ (a linux editor available on windows) and copy back. Reboot - preferably with Putty but I guess DCC might be capable of these basics(I don‘t use it)

Thanks for that, i can't find it with dcc, not the best with computer stuff, i will have to wait for an for it to be sorted, appreciate it.
Simply set the lnb as GT-S3DSSSR24. Should not matter they use same user ands. Remember it takes 2.5 seconds to get first signal in signal finder. Lnb needs to boot.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tried that but only the 4 band lnb will give a signal. comes up tune failed.
Set each tuner correctly, it will work.
Signal finder will only work with tuner A once all set.
Once start doing recordings to test.
Switch to BBC ONE HD, Record, then ITV HD, record, and so forth once your using all 8 tuners.

i will give it a try, to add to that my motorised system which is on the same pole stopped working, the new lnb wouldn't interfere with it would it?
the lnb you quoted is not in my list.

GT-S3DCSS24 should have posted. This is listed in openvix.

yes that one is in there, you must have mistyped the earlier one, none work other than the 4 band, i have followed exactly the examples, i will have to contact the shop tomorrow, no good if it don't work, thanks for your help.

And that LNB will only give you 4 tuners. Wait for someone with a bit of knowledge to upload a working Unicable file for you.

yes that's right, thanks all for the help, tomorrows another day.
Set the tuners exactly as per attached screenshots, then reboot the receiver.
Once rebooted go to Menu > Setup > Tuners & Scanning > Signal Finder. Wait a few seconds, signal should kick in.
What image build exactly are you on?

Post #33 has the link to the GitHub for the updated Unicable file. You need to locate that file on your receiver, copy it to your computer then copy & paste the new info and transfer back to your receiver. Either that or wait till the next release and just persevere with the 4 SCRs. [emoji3]

Baffled tbh. Open a support ticket with the shop: https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/support/
I've got a GT-S3dCSS24 at home, just had a play around with it. Set Tuner A to GT-S1-2-3SCR4 Userband 1 (1210). Initially got signal. Rebooted and signal lost.
After reboot set correctly to GT-S3dCSS24 Userband 1 (0975) worked again.
I'd suggest a reflash to one of your multi-boot slots and setup new with no settings restore.

A guide to attachments is here.

I hope you don't need advice on how to transfer the file to your PC from the receiver. An also how to zip files.
Today i have sent the LNB back so they can check it out as requested, thanks all, i will report back later.
Have now got a gigablue unicable LNB, same as my box, setting it up exactly as screenshots but not working, to me it doesn't look right, attached screenshots. it's showing on tuner A 26.0e and 28.2e when it's set on 28.2 only. the one i sent back was not wired correctly, this one i bought from germany, can someone have a look and see what they think.

None of it looks OK (you have 19.2E/28.2E on some tuners)
So post your settings file (/etc/enigma2/settings)
Go into tuner setup and change the satellite to the one that shouldn't be there and change LNB to 'not configured' and then save.

Go into tuner setup and change the satellite to the one that shouldn't be there and change LNB to 'not configured' and then save.
done that, got a signal now, why does that now work?
Because you've now disabled a satellite that isn't connected and just got it set up now on one that is connected.

Thanks, the settings just don't look anything like in the diagrams, anyway it works perfect now.
