I am thinking of buying VU+ Ultimo 4K main use would be recording of Freesat, so what would the best tuner arrangement I would need

Hi,
I do yout think that the tuners are your problem. All VU 4K boxes are using mainly so called FBC tuner which means with a unicable LNB you are able to watch 1 channel and record at least 7 other channel. So with FBC take a look for an unicable LNB.

Yes, it can be setup as a standard twin tuner.

Hi,
even with a standard LNB you have more options with the FBC tuner in a STB. With 2 inputs you can watch/record up to 8 services from 2 (out of 4) different bands.
