Had to retune after RTVE left Astra 1, so I have the 24Horas & RTVE International in HD, but the radio channels give no signal warning?

Hi,
I have scanned 12303 V 27500 3/4, Radios 1,3.4 etc are coming in (Zgemma box in London)
When searching Hotbird 12303 V 27500 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK I don't get any of the Spanish stations. I assume that my vu+ solo2 is not 100% MPEG-4 compatible.
The solo2 is mpeg4 compatible. Almost all HD channels are broadcast in Mpeg4.
My Box is TM5402HDCI Super+ SW V. 1.42 July 2014
Trying to add and/or edit RADIO channels manually on Hotbird 12303 V 27500
If I try to add new channel it asks for PCR PID , so where do I get this?
If I try to edit PIDs it asks for PPID value, so where do I get this for these radio channels
RNE1, RNE3 and RNE5.
Been happily listening without having to educate myself in satellite lingo, but now I can't avoid .
The solo2 is mpeg4 compatible. Almost all HD channels are broadcast in Mpeg4.
These are my settings and my search. No channels found.5979259793
Have you tried to scan the transponders on either side 12284 H and 12322 H?
Have you tried to scan the transponders on either side 12284 H and 12322 H?
hi, just tried now, got nothing on 12284 H , got 4 TV Channels on 12322 H no radio, just tried FTA search
I tried another scan (Hot Bird Total channels=1914 channels) 12284H = 17 TV (only TV on this transponder) channels (all coming in), 12303V = 12 TV channels and 8 radio (all coming in), 12322H = 6 Tv (only TV on this transponder) 4 coming in. IAre your LNBs OK and/or Diseq? Can you try another box?
I replaced my TM5402 with a Miraclebox a few years' ago. Then I bought and use as a main box a Zgemma H9S from WoS £70 approx (it's a really good box)
@malcolmp: I just tried FTA search on those 2 TPs
on 12284 H , got 4 TV Channels on 12322 H
Will do a full search maybe later tonight and will report back,
I can save my Spanish Radio channels, but have no sound which is a serious drawback for a radio listener:rolleyes:
@malcolmp: so scan all on 12284H 17TV no radio, on 12322H 6TV no radio.
Don't want to buy a new box right now as for me it's just radio listening.
If I could , or maybe you know something, I would get a non-HD box, these HD boxes are slow to switch from one radio station to another even on the same TP.
Maybe some HD boxes do it faster than TM or Revez.
Yes. 12284 H has only TV stations, 12322 H has only 6 Tv stations. The one you are interested in 12303 V has 12 TY stations and 8 radio stations.

I don't think you can buy a non HD box. Your box is quite old. (I found all of my boxes last about 5 or 6 years' before things slow down) You won't be disappointed if you buy a Zgemma H9S and at least you'll find out if your LNB etc is the problem.
I have already tried Hispasat 30W , but will research it again and turn one of my 3 dishes ans see if I can get what I want there. Thanks for your suggestion of the Zgemma H9S. I suppose even if my box actually works, the advances/changes in transmission standards will make it less and less viable.
@malcolmp
my zGemma is on its way, would have been more fun to get mi ol tm5402 to rise to task, vut I give up now on that front
Hi,
I'm sure you'll find it's a very good and versatile box, Install Oscam and learn how to use it.
