FTP Password now required

To use FTP, you must set password on latest OE-A images. OpenVix, OpenATV
If you do not set a password, you will get following error: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS


To set a password, there are two options:

Option 1.
Menu > Setup > Network > Password > Choose your password > Green (Save)

Option 2.

Set it by command line using SSH or Telnet with applications like Putty/Terminal or similar
issue following command


passwd

Note:
Passwords are saved/restored when using settings backup. So best to get used to this before ViX changes to 4.4 branch

OpenViX 6.0 will use OE-A 5.0 branch
OpenATV 7.0 uses 4.4 branch. This is already their current branch

OpenViX 5.4 will use OE-A 4.4 branch
OpenATV 6.4 uses 4.4 branch. This is already their current branch

OpenViX 5.3 uses OE-A 4.3 branch
OpenATV 6.3 uses OE-A 4.3 branch
