Yesterday I inserted a smargo reader with a TNTsat card downloaded the usbserial drivers modified the protocol and device in my oscam.servere to
[reader]
label = tntsat
protocol = mouse
device = /dev/ttyUSB0
caid = 0500
boxkey = 014D902F
deskey = 22D60F37567BAB12F505D8C8C71A22E3
detect = cd
mhz = 450
cardmhz = 2700
ident = 0500:030B00
aeskeys = 0500@030B00:439726EBB6A939A456C05FF6AA606..etc
group = 1
emmcache = 2,1,2,1
disablecrccws = 1
audisabled = 1
and it worked – no problem once I had changed smargo to mouse. Today it does not want to know. Change back to the internal reader and the card still works.

As attached is Webif shows either "Off" or "reader device error".59684 It also shows a Webif scan of the USBs, not that I have the slightest idea of what any of it means

I have tried the following modifications of the oscam.server which I have found elsewhere:
mhz = 357
cardmhz = 357
emmcache = 1,3,2

I have also downloaded s2-dvb-usb drivers and I have tried switching the USB socket to the one in which I have my hard disk and which I know works.

If anyone knows what's going on I would be grateful.

Update: If you go to Oscam Webinterface and click on files at the bottom you will find a list -

cardreader_phoenix: yes
cardreader_drecas: no
cardreader_internal_azbox: no
cardreader_internal_coolapi: no
cardreader_internal_coolapi2: no
cardreader_internal_sci: yes
cardreader_sc8in1: no
cardreader_mp35: no
cardreader_smargo: no
cardreader_pcsc: no
cardreader_smartreader: yes
cardreader_db2com: no
cardreader_stapi: no
cardreader_stapi5: no
cardreader_stinger: yes

Unfortunately all Oscams supplied as a download with openvix do not support smargos which means I will have to go elsewhere. If anyone has a suggestion I would be grateful.
