Tuning channels on intelsat907

Hi. Is there any way to allow the channels at 27.5W (intelsat907) to be scanned?
Could a firmware upgrade be created?
The satellite signal is strong but because the channels are encoded the channels cannot be resolved.
If the box was true enigma 2 then this would be possible - I have had it working on other boxes.

Do you mean scanned or received.
I run with 27.5W on OpenViX all the time, no issues.
Scanning -the services/channel on this transponder rarely change - no reason to scan and the lamedb has to be modified to receive, so shouldn't scan and change it.
