Hi

I'm using my SF8008 as my main receiver and my tm nano as a client box. I only use one satellite tuner on the sf8008, but I have to put the box in standby to use the tm nano. Is it possible to watch the tm nano without having to switch off the sf8008 to free up the tuner?

Thanks

If you think about what you are actually doing, you are using one tuner between two different receivers. So it is not possible. You can get away with client using same quadrant as host.

Isn't it possible for the client receiver to turn over the channel on the main box?

My SF8008 is my main receiver with a Zero as client. I put the SF8008 on standby and am able to change satellites and channels from the Zero

If the only tuner is being used by the host, which tuner will the client use?

Can you not connect another signal wire to the Octagon?

Boxes with multi tuner features are better for client mode.

could it work on a non-local ip? i.e. from a DM8000 of my friend with a rotor as host and my octagon client?
