I recently got myself an i55 plus which I use in client mode in a different room. It's all set-up on VIX and I'm very happy with it. I have an issue with Kodi though. I've followed the guide to move the flash to an SD card and installed kodi from the plugins. Kodi launches fine but when I try to play any video (even something on my connected hard drive) Kodi crashes and returns me to the vix plugins page.
Has anyone got Kodi working on the i55 plus or know how to fix this issue?

Pretty sure kodi is not supported on the i55

It says the i55 plus is supported on the W-O-S webpage. That was one of the reasons for buying it

Do you have an i55 or i55plus??
i55plus can use SD card and has Kodi.
You should not try using Kodi before setting up on the SD card.
I would revert to the eMMC (power long press and choose H9SDroot option) and then reflash clean using ImageManager (no settings restore).
Then copy root to SD card using H9SDManager before trying anything with Kodi.

Kodi on Zgemma i55 plus, h9 and such like on latest distros like

OpenVix 5.3
OpenATV 6.3
PurE2 6.3
And all other latest branches

Boots back to plugin menu on certain content, a lot who use plex and debrid find this also.

Revert back to the latest OpenVIX 5.2 and same content will be fine, also other distros like OpenATV 6.2 or PurE2 6.2 and all will work fine in kodi for you. Just using example as it’s across all latest distros.

But you could check kodi log in /tmp and post the log to Vix devs, but it happens across all latest distros on some content.

Ok I've flashed with openvix 5.2 and installed Kodi again. It's now working perfectly. Thank you very much for your help.
