Downloaded several images onto a known good usb stick but doesn't want to detect the image and proceed to flash.

It currently has black hole 3 that was updated over the Internet, but it could do with a new more recent image.

Any help please. Tried various USB sticks and all USB ports on the device all with no joy.

I have tried this several times on occasions and ran into the same problem.
Followed the guides available and can even explore to the USB stick and see it available but doeast detect the image.

Have extracted the image to the root of the USB stick.

I thought I'd shout up on here and see if anyone could throw a few pointers as to why it is not working

Thanks

use small usb stick from 256 MB. Or partition stick to that size.Remove all other usb sticks from box.Just unzip image to stick. No mention off root on stick is necessairy

I have used 8gb integral, cruzer and kingston usb sticks formatted to fat 32 and image extracted to usb which is inserted into rear of box when powered off,any buttons need pressing from the flashing guide of your box.

Is your box a genuine original or a clone that uses old blackhole images?

There are no known duo2 clones.

Root of drive means "not in another folder"

Just a quick update and thanks for your replies fellas :-)

All sorted now, seems the USB sticks were not formatted correctly.

I formatted two separate sticks (8G +4G) with a (win10) CMD program 'diskpart' and both now are detected at boot up.

Easy to do but 'clean' command took a while to finish
