Hi
Just got my brand new H9S and so far is doing well overall on a number of images I have tried so far except from one issue when changing channels and whenever this is encrypted, this will stutter as if it started in slow motion and then it stabilizes in a matter of 2-3 seconds. I have tried with few clines and yes I am not running oscam for the moment until I fully understand how to manage the relevant files. cccam tried both 2.3.2 and 2.3.8. Images tested so far , Pure2, OpenATV and OpenVix. With clear channels this does not happen. I know that this box is one of the most budget (entry level) so I also think that is the specs of the box that makes it behave like this but I was wondering to check with others if is just me under this conf or if anyone else has experienced this and perhaps if you could tell me how to fix it. My next step is to try oscam which I am hoping to understand by tonight how configure the lines in the oscam files.
Thanks in advance and have good day you all.

The slight 1-3 second slow motion when zapping channels is normall on all Hisilicon based receivers. They all have the it, Octagon SF8008, Amiko Viper 4K, Zgemma H9 series..

I am glad to hear that it's a common thing and not an early red flag for my new box.

Nah, its normal. Broadcom based boxes have a 1-2 second black screen on channel switch, Hisilicon 1-2 second slow motion.

Thanks Siciliano, can I ask please if there is a section for Oscam in this forum or any particular section I can post a question in regards?
