I am currently on OpenVix 5.2.045 and decided to upgrade to release 5.3.002
I have download the release and placed in ImageManager and slected Flash. It progresses to flash the image but at the point when Flashing UBI immage it displays an error "error flashing rootfs. system wont boot please flash backup reboot in 60 secs"

I am new to the Zgemma 9s can anyone please advise how to progress this further
Any assistance would be appeciated

I am assuming you are not using the SD card for the root??
Turn on debug logs menu/setup/system/logs/settings turn on debug and change log to usb or HDD (not flash) and reboot system
After ImageManager post debug log here

That log shows an issue with the web interface but no trace of ImageManager being called so either wrong log or there is another issue,

OK - my error, issued correction.
So you can try this: either usb flash or
Connect via putty and enter:
init 4 (space between)
Connect via filezilla:
rename ImageManager.pyo to xImageManager.pyo in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/ViX
and then copy the attached ImageManager.py to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/ViX
Back to Putty:
Init 6 (space between)

Then try flashing again with ImageManager
If that doesn't work due to other requirements then you will have to usb flash.

Hi twol
I have subsequently tried my plugin e2m3u2bouquet and found its not working following the upgrade to 5.3.002
I Initially reinstalled the plugin but that not resolved the it
Could you advise from the attached log what may be causing the problem

1. timeshift is having space issues - make sure that you have a hdd mounted as HDD (check in ViX mountmanager)
2. cannot see the e2m3u2bouquet being run, but beware that many IPTV providers have major issues with Xstream codes at the moment, so your IPTV services maybe failing - nothing to do with ViX
