View Full Version : H9.2h 4k combo box.28.2 tuning issue
Just got this box today and cannot seem to scan 28.2.
Tried OE installed image and VIX, both do the same.
It can pick up some stuff but not bbc1 etc etc.
Only way it will scan is via a blind scan.
No other box here to test at the moment.
Do you have sky q in the house if so that uses a different lnb not suitable for freesat boxes but needs a hybrid lnb.
No sky q . Twin sky feed coming through the wall. I'm baffled. Will get cables and dish checked.

This box can only use 1 sat feed so double check where its connected in rear and should be tuner B with screw threads.
The push in one is for cable or aerial feed not sat.
Post up a screenshot of tuner B setup listing 28.2.
I've had a few combo boxes including Edison and Octagon etc. I've only got the 28.2 feed connected.
It may be my dish so I will take it over my parents to test.
Thanks for the reply's :)
Took it to my parents and same issue.
I bought this:
Zgemma H9.2H 4K UHD H.265 HEVC Combo Tuner 1x DVB-S2X + 1x DVB-C/T2 Linux Enigma2 Multi-stream QT Stalker WiFi Digital Receiver.
Trying not to be silly here but this is a digital satellite tuner as well as dvd-c right? lol.
From what i can see yes it should work on 28.2,hence why we need to see your tuner setup for sat.

Yeah i thought so.
I did a normal scan and only got 109 channels. On Autobouquets it said no tuner connected.
DId same thing at mine and my parents. I think it's a faulty unit myself.
I've set up a fair few sat boxes and never any issues scanning for freeview etc.
Just to be sure can you do a screenshot of tuner setup and cable tuner is disabled as not in use.
Not sure if the tuner can change by > button.

Yeah I did all that mate. Makes no odds.
I've opened a ticket for it now.
This receiver is so easy to setup I am amazed you have an issue.
Can you post a tuner config picture so we can actually see what you have setup? You so far have ignored this request in post #9
Even experts such as you can get it wrong sometimes - please post an image.
twol yes these are easy to set up. I've done many .

Thats not what we are asking for: can you post a picture showing the tuner setup for the dvb-s2 tuner
..and also most of those services do not appear to be on any 28.2E satellite especially 11223 as its 23000 not 27500 (King of Sat and only has 4 servies
The first thing i did was check tuners. 59202

Thanks.
That looks correct and what are you using to scan 28.2 is it a network scan?

I've tried it all ways mate inc Network scan. Done a blind scan to. It picks up BT, SKY etc etc but no BBC1, ITV or most of what i am looking for.
Definitely think this is a faulty box. First one ever for me.
At your parents house i presume they dont have sky q either and their box is working.

Yes mate. Normal and all working.
My place is new so I am not sure if the previous tenant had sky q or not.
I've had e2 boxes on the same lines before though I'm sure.
Scanning at parents with still same issue could be tuner issue.
WOS have offerd a return of the unit.
As my new house had the dish here I will have to admit i have no idea if this is has a SKY Q LNB or not. How can i tell?
Would it even scan if it did have sky q LNB?

That is a wideband LNB. They are not compatible with Enigma2 receivers.
Cheers to all. Got tuner A scanning cable and all working fine. New LNB going up as soon as I can borrow some ladders :)
Much appriciated to all who helped.
