Hi all,

Context...

I'm on openvix (updated to latest).

I've not used my freeview tuners and relied on freesat, as my booster was knackered on the ariel.

Fixed that and when I scan I now get all tv channels, with great quality and strength. Last scanned is fully populated.

Problem...

I wanted to use ABM to create nice bouquets but it's giving me "cannot read data".

I'm based in Cheshire, North West England so is there something I need to hack to get this to run?

ABM still seems to work for free sat, but not freeview.

What Ive done....

I've uninstalled ABM and reinstalled. It's on 3.1

Ive deleted bouquets, disable tuners and reenabled them. Rebooted etc.

The only thing I've not done is reflash.

I saw this link

And it looks similar except its for cable not free view..

Is there something I can do?

Ahh right. Freesat cables connected to sat tuners x2. Aerial connected to add on board i added to the internal board.

That block of text is from webif. Likely the current channels tuned to each tuner at the time I took a copy of the text.

That didn't work failed to find enough transponders... Wierd as all the freeview channels are there in last scanned..

Only dvb-t2 multiplexes found. Insufficient data to create a provider file.

If the issue is ABM scanning with the Twin Hybrid tuner, disable Tuner J for now. It's a driver issue. It's been reported to them and they're being hounded by myself to fix the issue.

I'll re-test it next week.

Try doing a complete manual scan on each I & J tuners with them both enabled.

Yes all working fine on OpenViX 5.3 builds, there was an issue in old 5.2 builds.

hi all. thanks for the suggestions.

I've only just seen these, as was back on the forum to report a different bug/feature.

I'm home alone for the next two nights so will give this a go.

However, I'm now on 5.3.x so I'll run the process as is if its working in the latest version.

Bingo! Disabling tuner J worked. I'm on 5.3.

Guess I just re-enable it now right?
