Box will not update via software updates to 5.2.0.42 it just hangs. Downloaded zip file and extracted to a usb drive and it says download error and E02 on display

Mine updated to 042 via online update fine. Are you running the image in flash memory or on an sd card?

In the zip file I have more than the octagon folder

Maybe that is the issue as usb is suppose to be formatted fat32 and rar file extracted to usb.

Thats normal ... in fact for the usb flash it needs the usb.bin and the other HiSilicon files
I assume that the receiver no longer has a bootable image?
