When I go into Plugins > Download New > Picons I get a list of east and west filenames with a bunch of numbers.

How do I install the picons downloaded from - http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/downloads/picons-channel-icons/ ??

Just use something like Filezilla and FTP them to your internal flash (if you have sufficient space) or lump them on a usb flash drive. All the picons need to be in a folder named “picon”

Can these be installed on the HDD (/media/hdd) ?

Ah I found instructions to put them in /media/hdd/picons and it seems to work, however I'm not a fan of the MK icons. So trying the Ocram ones instead!!
