Volume control wont work on AC3 channels?

Volume control wont work on AC3 channels, it does not make any diffrerence when using volume button on AC3 channels, no problem with mpeg stereo channels.

HD channels with AC3 knows just two states for volume, mute and loud.

I have tried automatic volume control plugin, but looks like it does not do anything.

Where is the problem?

At the moment im using VIX 1.3, but i think this problem has been allways with me.

Ac3 is digital sound. Duo treats this like all digital input ... on or off. If u put the volume right down, then it goes off...

Dunno if that's how vu intended, can only think it is... You'll just have to use audio controls on sound system, and maybe try email vu direct to see if they'll change this...

You are using direct AC3 output, i.e. you must use volume control of the device that decodes audio signal (most probably some AV receiver). If you want to use volume control of Vu, you must enable AC downmix for the sake you get only stereo output.
