View Full Version : [ABM-DVB-C] Failed Scan
Hi Guys
I have just installed the latest VIX update and since installing I’m unable to complete an ABM scan as it fails with the error “ failed to tune on tuner B, check your configuration”
I can’t see what I have wrong as I’m clearing on tuner B?

Which provider? If cable, which NetID?
Hi Abu
Yes it’s UK Cable, my NET ID is zero which I suspect is the issue, how can I find out what I should enter?

I just found my NETID which I have configured in my tuner but still get the same error, does the region in tuner settings affect things?

Leave tuner NetID as all zero’s. You need to make sure your ABM Providers is set to the correct NetID.

Thanks Andy, that’s what I have done however I still get the error

Does my tuner config look correct?

I hope you have not set your NetID/region as 00000 in ABM. Instead of us asking you question after question, please provide logs as per this thread

No I have left the ID in ABM as it was, only the tuner config has zero as per my screenshot, do you still require the ABM log?

I asked for NetID it so I can check whether is a Pure region or not. And to check whether it has been updated recently or not so that you can get the asisstance you need. As you are not forthcoming with providing the NetID, I can get it from the debug log.
I suggest you update the provider file, if you still have an issue after it updates, I'd guess you are in a Pure area. These are self contained and would need someone in the same area to run the NitAnalyser tool. Might be just a symbol rate/modulation change, but best to be sure

For information, it does not matter what you put as your NetID in tuner config. You can leave it as 00000 or put in the actual NetID.
If you have the actual netID, it is easier to leave it as it.
If it is 00000, it is easier to leave it as it is.
You must use the correct NetID in ABM/LraiZer's Cable plugin though.
Sorry Abu, didn’t realise you required the NETID, it’s 41050

Updating the providers did the trick, appreciate the help.
Any reason why some channels show “no SID in pat”

Have you updated the ABM provider file using the function within ABM?

They are dead and no longer broadcasting. Some tuners just show a blank screen, others show that error.
You can remove the cable services then run ABM again.
Up (next to OK), Green ( satellites< Scroll to cable services, Menu , remove cable services, confirm, restart, run ABM again
If you get it again, best to disable background scanning and repeat above process.
