Hi guys could someone explain what t2mi plp direct scan does?
any benefits for UK 28.2? I tried searching but couldn't find any info
Also what is Multistream does it require a special type of LNB

Why are you posting about using this unfinished work? Also the drivers that where supposed to support T2-Mi where reverted 4 days ago https://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-core/commits/4.2/meta-brands/meta-octagon

Please put effort into fixing the Kodi issue rather than this.

Jan 31 ... Revert "[sf8008] update drivers, add t2mi scan option"
This reverts commit 0b06940.

Bit difficult to have this much publicised Octagon feature when drivers have been reverted.

You will have to stop breaking things first. T2MI manual scan doesnt work on 4.8e never mind blind scan. Also multi stream blind scan does not work either.

It was working until recently. Anyway I will try again when the new drivers are released.

Also multi stream blind scan does not work either.No one has ever claimed that that this receiver is multistream blindscan capable. The hardware is not, just the same as almost all other enigma2 receivers.

T2MI works fine for me.

Multistream blindscan seems to work on Vix 024 - It picks up the 12341H Stream 40 channels on Astra 4.8E

It is just syncing from satellites.xml. Only receivers that can blindscan multistream are Edision Nino Pro and Mio 4K.

I only have Ku-band - but I have tried this on 4.8e and it does not blind scan the channels on 12341H. I can get them with a manual scan.
