View Full Version : how do i uninstall cccam from vix 1.3?

trying to uninstall cccam to install an older version

for the life of me i cant find where to uninstall it?

ive deleted it from usrs/softcam but still cant get an older cccam to install as it says its already provided by package enigma-plugin-cams-cccam.2.2.1

any ideas?

Go to plugins the select remove plugins

Before uninstalling go to softcam manager disable autostart then stop

and now you can remove cams via the plugins

thanks, in the end i extracted the one i wanted and ftp it to softcams folder, works fine also getting NAN on the ecm times on screen

no softcams in the image. they have been removed. but you can install them manually. There is a link to a tutorial in my signature that will guide u through it

FTP into the box and navigate to USR/SOFTCAM and delete from there.

but in menu i dont have plugins in there using 230 vix ??

There are no softcams available for the ViX image on any version via the plugins menu. if you want to install one you must do this manually. To uninstall a softcam do as instructed by stanman and start a FTP session then navigate to USR/SOFTCAM and delete the necessary files. also what exact version of ViX are you using as 230 is not a version number ?. you can find this out via the info menu.

Can you take a picture of the VIX menu and than press plugins and take a pic of the plugins as I am quite surprised that you do not have the plugin entry in the menu.
