View Full Version : [VU+ Solo2] Please enter correct pin code??????!!!

I come back home to find my box having weirdly reset itself.
Like it had done a full reset on its own. All bouquets gone.
And when i try and get in the menu, its asking me to enter the correct pin code.
I've had this book since new for maybe 4 years now....never seen this message in my life.

when i press menu button, it asks for pin code. if i try some default like 1234 or 0000, its all wrong. And after 3 goes it says i have to wait 15 minutes to try again!!!! What the hell!

I cannot even flash the box - just keeps booting straight into the opening screen and to the channels.

What on earth do i do??!

Double check you are following the flashing instructions exactly.

Make sure folder layout/filesystem is correct.

Try a different USB drive.

i have.
I have been happily flashing my box for years with no issue.
That is not my main issue either.

Hi,
remove any USB device beside the flash stick.

Did you have open ports to your Solo2? If yes perhaps not the best idea. For me it looks as if some "funny" guy made some remote access to your box.

Sounds more like its been hacked.
