You'll need to wait for next release build, DVB-C fixed here https://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-core/commit/d6b735173b717fda7ce655c3d5181468a4e774a2#diff-43cad3b09ee1c10ddda60b1cdb986529

I can't test one right now, try latest OpenATV, disable FBC tuner H if DVB-C tuner is in slot 1. The try run ABM again. Might be and old bug has re-surfaced.

Hi
All, Aotobouqetmaker vm scan or not ?FBC tuner

Sicilian
15-12-18, 14:31
Yes ABM can scan cable using FBC, but there might be a bug in the Duo4k drivers that I can’t test and report until Monday. See my post above of what to try if it fails. If using openvix online update to latest build uploaded today.

Try put DVB-C FBC tuner in Slot A.

Sicilian

I've just tested this. DVB-C FBC tuner MUST BE IN SLOT A, closest to HMDI ports. Works fine.

I think there are two versions of DVB-C FBC tuners. Version 1 and version 2. See VU+ pages.

I'm testing against sf8008 reds are looking quite orange. Pic quality isn't very sharp like sf8008. I can only test with cable I don't have s2x tuner. Can anyone confirm pic quality and especially reds looks totally off.

If you have a Samsung tv, you need to turn UHD colour off, as Vu+ haven't put the UHD colour support in the drivers yet

UHD off makes no difference. When i set 1080i 1080p no prob reds are fine. As soon as you choose 2160p can tell pic changes.
Still no joy with kodi. Do VU guys even know ?

My Duo 4K is only a week old, so I'm a newbie, but not being able to boot seems to be the immediate problem. I am not sure what you mean by the "latest vix 5.2 018". If you mean OpenViX, then the latest version is 5.2.026.

I would start by reflashing OpenViX with version 5.2.026.

I also have a question about what is meant by "Initialise HD and lost picture completely". Did this happen during the initialisation, or immediately after, or later when you tried to use the HD? I think you should also perform a "File system check" after initialisation. It was my feeling that the initialisation only formats the disk, whereas the file system check also creates the necessary folders.

I decided to flash vix 040 latest build seemed ok but box hard crashes now n again. I have to use switch at back to restart box. I didn't get this with OpenATV. Is there anyway we can have UHD colour added to drivers?

So crash logs????
Vu+ have been fixing drivers so comparing ATV with ViX is not relevant - depends on what driver is in the OE-A which both images use.
WHat do you mean by adding UHD colour?
Vu+ Writes the drivers and they are poor at listening to change requests.
