IPTV channel EPG after copying

i use EPG-Importer to populate the EPG for my IPTV channels
The Iptv channels are populated using E2m3u2 bouquets

If i copy an IPTV channel/s into another bouquets the EPG using Idreamx the EPG shows for these channels in the bouquets.

however If i transfer the channels manually using a text editor to another bouquet the EPG does not show.

Anyone have any idea what I need to do to get the EPG to show after manually coping the channel

Have you compared the difference in files between the methods? Is there a difference to lamedb?

I took a copy of the lamedb before copying channels with idreamx and compared that using diff to lamedb after copying and it comes back no difference.

I also checked the difference between the line after being copied by idreamx and between manually being copied and I can see that part of the service ID is different than the original when copied by idreamx.

Does not make sense how the EPG can be associated with the channel when the service ID changes. As i always though it was the service ID that was used to map the EPG to it.


how is the EPG mapped to the channel?

Maybe because that reference is in the file that Rytec team uses.

just spotted what was wrong.

the bouquet name changed and i was taking the channel from an older bouquet.
