Swap file page necessary?

Hi guys, do you know if it’s suggested to create a swap file (pagefile) for the octagon SF8008 or it’s just fine as it is? I will use it for satellite watching and KODI, once the issue with fullscreen will be fixed.

Hoping the post is just a joke...... If not, no you do not need a swap file on this receiver!!!!!

No not needed, the model has plenty of ram.

Swap File was originally for lower end / lower ram devices yonks ago, wouldn't install a swap file on this box at all, or most newer end decent models tbh.
