How to stop recording

Hi all,

Is there any way that I can disable recording altogether on my box?

My niece keeps recording and I have an unlimited amount of recording programmed and for some reason, they will not delete.

I have just upgraded the image on the box but at the moment I just want to stop recordings from going to HDD (I have even disconnected the HDD) and stop timeshift. I definitely do not want the recordings to go to the internal storage.

Any help would be appreciated.

The recordings can be deleted, you’ll just not be deleting them correctly. If they are AutoTimers, then you need to make sure you “save” once you’ve deleted them.

It won't record on the internal flash memory.
