Et8500 iptv

Hello all, it's been awhile, I am looking to turn my extrend et8500 in to a iptv receiver, can this be done? Also it's been about a year and a half the last time I used it.. is there a idiots guide on how to reinstall from scratch i.e. flash and images ect... Any help will be appreciated... Thank you in advance.
