I’d go with the Mut@nt HD51 as this also has the Multiboot functionality where you can have several images and boot to different ones.

If you like to try images, the hardware multiboot on the hd51 and Gigablue is a bonus. you can use open multiboot on other receivers.

The Gigablue UE 4K is higher spec and can have more tuners.
As much as I like the HD51, the Giga4K‘s are as indicated by Sicilian higher spec and better “quality“ e.g. full spec remote, and better finish.... but multiboot wise HD51 can take 4 images, Giga4K‘s 3 images

hi..I will buy 2 receivers 1 mutant in bedroom and 1 in living room ..which model you prefer from GIGABLUE ?
I only need 2 tuners but i dont mind keep better , faster receiver and install only 2 tuners.
I hope dreambox 920 is not better like gigablue .. i can buy used for 240 delivered.
The Giga 4K UE is a great deal........ unless you need some of the Quad extra‘s (hdmi in, sata etc)
Currently no MIS capability on the FBC tuners, so if you want that you will need the HD51.
The Gigablues have optional s2x tuners now for the plug and play slots.

Do they have MIS working yet?
Yes according to latest drivers: https://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-core/commit/e05da7f15ec22231ad6bfbc438f70973fe8c33f0#diff-6c88aa2c0e2619c282c33590d630da03
[GigaBlue | gb7252] update build
* Update drivers to new BCM SDK
* add opengl Support
* add Kodi Support
* add Chrome-WEB Browser
* add Youtube.TV
* add Bluetooth Audio Support (need optional BCM Bluetooth USB Adpater)
* add QT HBBTV Support
* add Support for new Gigablue DVB-S2X Single and Dualtuner with Multistream
* update LCD modes to only support regular modes (no more pip in lcd)
* Info: Quadpip at the moment only supports 1080i and 2160p as video resolution (the fix to support 720p and 1080p is coming later)
* remove support of 480 and 576 video resolution - new BCM SDK dropped that
Do you know if Abu has the S2X version of the FBC tuner?
The FBC tuners that are embedded are not S2X, only the extra pnp tuners

Ok, understood. So no FBC tuner has MIS capabilities yet, although it should work in the GB with additional tuners.
In that case the GB looks like a very interesting box.
