Hi,

I have split my Tiviar HDMI signal to feed 2 TVs. This works fine at first on both TVs but every so often just stops on TV furthest from box. By turning off TVs/box and turning back on again I can get it working again.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks.

You can get powered hdmi splitters with 1 input and multiple outputs. They might help.

Cheers, am using a powered splitter. Seems weird that it works, then just drops??

Cheap Chinese crap (powered splitter)? You know the saying, cheap is not always the best option. [emoji4]

Could I use a component to hdmi to the tv I rarely use, and just a direct hdmi to main TV?

Could you link a quality powered splitter please?

There's a splitter mention here...

but it's very expensive. I use Neet switches (4 in, 1 out) without any problems.

Component to one TV and HDMI to the other TV works well. You will need a 3 core component cable for the video and a 2 core cable for the audio.

Could I use a Toslink/optical cable instead of the 2 core cable for the audio?
