Hi,
I currently using OpenVix 5.0 on my VUSolo2 on cable. I have been using ccam fine and decided to use mgcamd.
Not been having much luck.
Tried again today and same issue, but i thought i would do another restart after making mgcamd to start up but this time the box starts but comes up with the attached error and wont go any further. It is currently stuck in a loop.
Left it switched off etc but to no avail.

Error:

"Your receiver encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted, Please send log file"

This is in a constant loop where it tries to start and then comes up with the above.

Attached screenshot of error & log files.

Any advice would be much recommended. Thank you

Hi,
this is no boot loop it is an enigma2 loop so you should still be able to reach your box with telnet/ssh (putty). So connect to your box and delete mgcamd which is I think in /usr/softcam

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Removed mgcamd and still the same.
Also removed ccccmd as well and same again.
Switched off and on but still no luck.

Think i might just try a new install with the latest updated image.

Actually took a copy of soft cam manager and then deleted it from:usr\lib...(screenshot) and this seems to have booted up fine.

I'm sure we fixed this in recent images.
