Hi All,

I have the latest image on the Solo2 and I have been getting the attached fault warning after a reboot or after restarting the GUI and I am not sure what I have done, the box appears to be looking for a plugin that doesn't exist and I don't get the warning unless I reboot or restart the GUI.

I have Xtream Editor 2.12 installed and did try the Xtream VPN over the weekend after having problems with my IPTV provider not clearing channels over the previous weekend, but since changing to another provider I found I didn't need a VPN so I uninstalled it from my plugins because I read that a VPN slows down the box. I have also attached my plugin list in case I am missing a plugin but I am presuming I shouldn't have uninstalled the VPN because it was part of the editor and hopeful someone can confirm this for me or point me in the right direction.

Kind regards,
James.

1. Can you state the build version ..... latest doesn‘t help!
2. Unless somebody comes up with a quick solution:
Go to main menu/setup/system/logs/settings
Change logs location to other than flash
Enable debug logs
Save
Reboot
Assuming error occurs, attach debug log here you will need to use filezilla to transfer from the receiver
You will find it in /media/where you saved it eg HDD/logs file name Enigma2_debug_date_time

Its possible its an Xstream issue (although don‘t see how ...yet), although seen a few issues recently (why people use this plugin......???)

Sorry thought it was a VU problem.

What image build exactly are you on? Have you tried a USB re-flash and new setup with no settings restore?

Thank you for your reply Twol,

Image is 5.1.032 I cannot see a built version when I go to main menu/information/about, I decided to open the xtream editor plugin to delete all IPTV & DVB bouquets and did a fresh download of Bouquets/EPG/and Picons and then restarted the GUI and it happened again, so the latest debug log is attached and there are no crash logs.

I am using the xtream editor because in the past I have had a provider that just gave a load of channels without any EPG or any order, but the last 2 have been using the Xtream editor that does allow a decent EPG on some channels and gives the categories of the channels so less channels but better organised and usability, but the truth is I wasn't give a choice anyway.

Thank you for your help it is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
James.

That error in signal finder has been fixed and will be in next Release image. Ignore it for time being.

I have thought about a fresh install/re-flash, but I had trouble installing media portal because it is no longer supported and I do use the box as a FTA receiver with a motorised dish and 36v H to H motor and don't want to lose my FTA channels that I keep updated for recording on my HDD, there most be loads of files and stuff I no longer need from my days of using softcam and CCcam over the 3 years I have had the unit.

I presume there is a tutorial for a re-flash that I should find and use.

Kind regards,
James.

All flashing guides are on www.openvix.co.uk under 'guides and tutorials'.

I am not sure you have a bug in image 5.1.032, I did a fresh USB clean install yesterday with no custom plugins, no channel list, and the problem has gone. I have all the plugins that I wanted and got rid of the trash and and it is no longer happening, I have tested with a restart GUI, a full reboot and a power off at the back reboot, and the warning is gone so it must have been a problem that I caused.

Sorry and thanks again.
James.
