Hi,

new to all this but do have a 30+ year involvement in IT
I have a Youview box that I get IPTV channels provided by my ISP on but would like get them on my VU+ Ultimo box, does anyone know if this can be done?
And if so how to do it

Thanks

John

yes buddy it will run on them.
there's a few different ways but ask the provider which files he provides.

The Ultimo4k will definitely run IPTV but it will not take the iptv streams you are currently getting via your ISP and Youview box. You will need to use a different 3rd party provider. The provider should have some sort of tutorial on how to run their services on various device types.

Have a search for Suls e2m3u2bouquet

John it works well on a Ultimo4k.

Download your IPTV file and put it into the var/tmp folder on the Vu4k then use this. enigma2-plugin-extensions-e2m3u2bouquet_0.7.5_all

Don’t know about PlusNet, I just put the http:// address I was given buy my provider into firefox and it downloads an m3u file

The op has a legitimate service via Plusnet not an illegal Iptv service so he doesn’t have an m3u.

M3u File doesn't always mean illegal

Now TV, PlusNet, Talk Talk and even Virgin all provide legit IPTV services but do not work in the same way as the illegal ones

Which was my point, legal services don’t use m3u files.
