Serviceapp & stalker qt problem please help

Hello lads I recently bought the mutant HD51 and and installed the ipab imagine and set it up nicely and working like a dream. I advised my friend to do the same which he did he as installed the same image as me downloads exact same set up ect. But for some reason he doesn’t have serviceapp installed on his box and it’s also not in the extensions for him to download him self. Also the stalker qt app is also not in his extensions why is this when I had both of these available to use and install and we installed the same image software it’s very confusing. I would really appreciate any help anybody could give me a lot thanks lads

I assume that you are both using a HD51 receiver.......Stalker (E2 plugin) is only available on HD51 type receivers.

Yer mate both got the Mutant Hd51 receiver it’s mental how it’s not there we’re both on the same latest version of ipab and installed it identically to each other but he just doesn’t have the option to download the stalker qt plugin in extensions but I did it’s head wrecking can’t get me head around it. Does anybody know of a command to send the plugin to the device manually or for any reason as to why it’s not showing up in the extensions list thanks everyone for any help

The only other thing is his router having a security setting that’s blocking the plugins.

Why are you using ipab? do they have their own feeds, or is it a ViX build under another name??

Ipab is a backup of OpenATV with preinstalled skins and setup.

I think serviceapp is under system plugins on OpenATV.

What you could do is make a full backup to flash the other box and edit any personal info.

Yes ipab is great it’s all set up how you would want it. Yer I’ve sorted the serviceapp part that showed up soon as I updated the software but still no luck with stalker qt plugin showing up on the extensions. It’s crazy as I’ve sorted this out on a few boxes now without any problems. Ashley could his sly internet shield be blocking the plugin from showing in the extensions list tho thought if anything it would just block it from downloading. How do you do a full backup aswell mate thanks lads

ipab is not great at all. An horrible bloated image like the wooshbuild.

Just for lazy people... haha

But if you like it, thats all that matters I guess....

iPab has had serviceapp issues on few of there images, as outdated.

Just use a fresh image and set up yourself, helps learning and also better for own troubleshooting.
