The teletext button is the button under mute. To get back, press exit.

i too would like to know this!

when the teletext button is pressed on say BBC 2, all i get is 4 coloured boxes at the bottom of the screen. typing in 100 or 200 does nothing

Got to admit, I've never tested teletext. Anyone ever tried it with official image?

I don't think that the teletext will work with the uk teletext, since it appears to be trying to use the same old analog teletext system we had years back... I don't think this is broadcast over satellite any more, so doubt that the teletext would work...

Maybe try opening teletext on a different satellite/package if you have a subscription, and see what happens there!?

Got to admit, I've never tested teletext. Anyone ever tried it with official image?

I've tried it using BlackHole image and it works fine on some FTA channels like BBC World (Hotbird) and 24 Horas. Don't have access to 28.2E to test on UK channels.

I suspect as I said then, it's the teletext broadcast system used...

OK, just tested the teletext on bbc world news (13e), and indeed that does show up... This was in beta version though...

But, does that channel show the digital version of teletext? This is the new version of teletext in the uk:

On satellite they broadcast the old analogue teletext. On DTT it's the newer type MHEG5 that the Vuplus doesn't support.
