formuler z7+ remote issue

if you have any other products made by octagon,then please don't buy the formuler z7+...
my set is the following .(1) formuler Z7+
(2) octagon sf4008 sat/cable combo box
(3) lg sj9 speaker bar

the remote that is supplied with the z7+ clashes with all of the above..for example when trying to switch over from z7+ to the octagon or vice versa
it just totally messes up the menu on one or the other..i cannot put one the other unit into standby or even deep standby.as both remotes from the octagon or the formuler remote work both box..so i end up having to unplug one of the other box so i can use one or the other.
then here is the next problem.when pressing a channel on the remote either remote.it send the volume up on my soundbar ,,its absolutely doing my head in :mad:
and the next part is even more frustrating ,,ive got a harmony ultimate remote..but because the codes are using the codes from the manufacture's it still clashes.....
too say I'm well unhappy is an understatement ...

So because the remote clashes with your equipment you are advising people not to buy it? We could say the Octagon remote is clashing the with the Z7+ :)

If you're not happy with it simply contact where you purchased it, i'm sure if you return it as new you'll be able to get a refund. I think you'll find 99% of peeps who've purchased the Z7+ are more than happy with it.

Remotes clash with some devices, it's a fact of life.

I've seen Xtrend remotes clash with Tiviar, Octagon, Miraclebox. I've even seen certain keys from a Technomate affect a Tiviar. Quite often some keys do weird things.

Btw Octagon DO NOT manufacture the Z7+. Formuler devices are manufactured by Fortis.

I'm entitled to say how i feel...please feel free to call my house and try using the remote (s) ..don't want anyone else have to go through the same frustration .even trying too use a multi remote gives the same frustration...the two units clash end of..so save others buying

I personally have two with no issues. LG OLED TV, Sony Soundbar, NVidea shield, VU+ Ultimo4K. In another room LG UHD LED 4K TV, Nvidea shield and VU+ Uno4k SE.

like all my sat boxes ..all purchased from w-o-s...had it over a month now....so not sure if they would have it back,,,and also i'd end up losing money.due to returning and also the prices has fallen since ive purchased
