The satellites.xml, terrestrial.xml, cables.xml file had to be manually updated in-between images. You can now do this directly using the remote. A plugin has been created for this purpose. The plugin is available to all OE-A images.
To install it..
Menu > Plugin > Green (Download plugins) > System plugins > scroll down to "xmlupdate"
Confirm installation
To run it..
Menu > Tuner config > XML update
Select your option and update the file. Restart for changes to take effect.
Notes:
The satellites.xml file is updated from LyngSat on Saturdays
The xml file is only used for validating positions and conventional scanning
These .xml files are NOT used by ABM (AutoBouquetsMaker) or AB 28.2 (AutoBouquets 28.2)
