Hi all I’m looking to put a 500gb Hdd in the tiviar plus box to use for all my timeshift, epg and recordings what is the best format for the Hdd to be in? Does anyone know if you can put separate partitions for recording and timeshift if so how would you do it and setup on box?
Any comments would be much appreciated

You need to format it within ViX. It will initialise the HDD to Ext 4.
