Just purchased the tiviar alpha+ Box as a upgrade from the h2s. Looking for recommendations on best image to use open vix or open atv. Also as it takes a internal Hdd would you recommend still placing the epg and picons on usb or all on the hdd. Last question do you still need use a swap file with this box

Try them and settle for one you like most.

Picons = USB flash drive or internal flash memory
EPG = HDD or USB, take your pick. Does not matter

Has enough RAM, no need for swap file.
