I have my VU Duo set up with two dishes.

Tuner A is set up on a motorised dish
Tuner B is on a static Zone 2 28.2 east.

I dont know how it works but i like it alot, if i switch to a sky uk chan it automatically uses tuner B then if i switch to say 13east it will use Tuner a. When i turn back to sky it changes tuner.

I like this because i was wondering if it would always use the first available tuner starting with A. this would mean that tuner b would only come in to play if tuner A was recording.

using it the way i do though i get instant chan changes from say 1west to 28east.

I like that loads!

How do you use yours? what would you have improved if you could?

Mine is set same as yours stve
Tuner A motorised dish, Tuner B static mini dish.

My setup, opposite to yours: -

Tuner A fixed 28.2
Tuner B motorised

If Tuner A is recording then Tuner B comes into play.

I'd like to see the Media Player working 100% so that its plays back all mkv's, divx, xvid, iso's etc..The technology is out there. A lot of media players out there are Linux based, so surely the could implement the features.

Just a matter of time till perfect media playback, I must admit, i didn't think I would use it much but i'ts great to have:)

Does anyone use tuner B as a loopthrough, would this mean that tuner b could only record or watch a chanel on the same TP as tuner A?

So you don't actually watch any channels hummer? You just have both tuners connected to the motor? Don't use an LNB ? :)

start over Hi I have a quad lnb ,
I’m using 1 output going to tuner A set to motor and the second output to tuner B set to second lead from motor setup,
can’t remember the correct wording as stated in the box
