Hi I recently bought a z+ is it possible to record on mytvonline then use another app to watch or do something else while mytvonline is working in the background?

If so how do you do this?

Or can this be done on the newer z7+?

Can you record one channel and watch another on mytvonline or is this not possible.

Hope someone can help or advise.

i know this is old thread and you may have found the answer already.

you cannot record and watch another channel, only the channel you are watching can be recorded. if you using mytvonline (which has 5 portals), you could have another portal, where i believe you can record a channel and on other portal watch tv.

I am thinking of getting one of these. Does anyone know if this will let me record directly to a NAS drive on a wired LAN or is recording only possible to a usb drive?

ive only tested on a usb and works on recording & time shifting. not sure about nas drive. saying that I don't see why it would not work. you may ant to join formuler website and ask there.

``I currently have a VU+ enigma 2 box and that allows me to record to an internal hdd or set up a network share to my NAS and record directly to that so hopefully this will allow me to also. Cheers I will look on their website.
