Playing an MKV but no sound

Hi, i copied an episode of Burn Notice to my VU,

The file was an MKV 720. 1.4gb. when i clicked on it it played picture fine but no sound.

Any ideas?

Whats the audio on the mkv? AC3, DTS, mpeg? Do you get any audio options is your press the audio button on your remote whilst playing back?

Only the one option but i cant remember, i think it is probably AC3.

The file name says x.264

x264 is basically a mkv file. I tested a few, read here http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?406-Media-player-has-really-improved-Been-doing-some-testing&highlight=media+player+mkv I wouldn't say the media player side is 100% just yet, but it has improved to what it was a few months back.
