Hi is there a easy to follow guide to get usa and canada epg without having to pay a third party company

i have used e-channelizer to get UK epg but not sure how to get USA etc

If you have twitter, @tommycahir has done a good write-up a few months ago now on this can be achieved. its a long process and time consuming, but can be done.

i also use EPG importer but it does not download usa or canada

£12 per year and you can use xtream editor, definitely worth it in my opinion

do you know if this includes the catchup feature i have seen? when i looked its not showing Canada in the epg lineup

Catchup is available via api line in xtream but isn't that provider specific?

i signed up and got it linked but no epg still......but do you have to load each channels epg

No you may have to choose the country, or sometimes need to link the epg source from the options available. There are guides on Web site that tell you step by step what to do

i have managed to get the epg to work, (its limited to 25 entries in a trial) now ive been playing for a bit... thanks for your help going to do the 12 months

i found it easier to use API line then go into EPG-ID assignment and click the green box "try auto assignment" for you epg don't for get to save it then sync (you don't need to enter the EPG url just leave it blank)

you may have to edit ones it misses
