Reboot behaviour

Is it normal reboot behaviour to go to standby or have I activated something in settings?
If my box crashes or I restart gui, my box will reboot, display a channel for a second, them go to standby. Is this normal?

Could it be HDMI CEC settings, going to standby if the tv is switched off??

No HDMI CEC is disabled on box and tv.
