Official Tivusat card in Vu Duo not clearing

Hi

I am trying to get my Vu Duo working with an official Tivusat card but it is not clearing.

I have a totally blank ccam.cfg file in /etc folder and running ccam 2.3.0 softcam but it's not clearing.
The card is chip-side down in slot 1 of receiver. I have tried the second slot too but no joy.
Any idea what I am missing as don't know what else I should be doing.

blimey, I was looking for that post but couldn't find it !
No I didn't I ended up geting them a tivusat receiver! This one is different as they have one tuner linked to Astra 28.8 so want to watch two "birds" with one receiver :)

yes and now i am totally pooped off!

I have even tried a friends card and that, like the first, is recognised in the slot but not clearing.

When i access Menu/Softcam/CCcam info/item 4 shares I see /dev/sci0 - CaID:183e so presumably the card is being detected?

An update:

What I have noticed is that the white coloured Tivusat cards do clear the channels but the gold cards marked Tivusat HD do not....
