I've upgraded a flashed 5.1.011 image to version 5.1.019 via opkg upgrade and ran out of flash space.
Upgrading package openvix-enigma2 installs some skins (openvix-magic-fhd, openvix-youvix-blue) which I don't need and upgrading package kernel-vmlinux writes a kernel-image to /boot on rootfs (for whatever reason).

Sounds like you need to either couch flash (if it is still running) or usb flash. There seems like 5 million (a slight exaggeration) Vu+ driver upgrades in the last 10 days .. perhaps one of them caused your issue.....

No, my system runs fine now with 5.1.019 - it's not a driver issue, it's an upgrade process issue.
I've restored my 5.1.011 image and removed packages openvix-base and openvix-enima2.
This prevents installation of some additional skins which I don't need.
After upgrading the system I removed the kernel-image from /boot (since kernel runs from /dev/mtd2).

Unfortunately the small flash size of the Uno/Duo receivers is showing its limitations now that there are some new skins included by default in the image.
